    Oliver Auston

    17 years’ experience in industrial design, IP development, engineering and compliance. Focused primarily in the work at height and lifting gear sector. Oliver and his company Checkmate Lifting & Safety Ltd are multi award winners for innovation, design and creativity. Oliver has vast experience in developing both physical and digital products and he is passionate about finding innovative product solutions for the most challenging problems, holding several industry positions and is now seen as an industry thought leader.

    Oliver has always been able to think about problems differently, his passion and energy for class leading innovative products is infectous. Much of his education was focused on industrial design, graphic design and design technology and Oliver achieved AA’s and A *’s in both GCSE and A levels for design communication, design technology and Art some four years early. He was identified at the age of just 14 as the Young Artist of the Year and his list of achievements for creative design and product developments post leaving school is simply staggering.

    16 years’ experience in disruptive technologies, specialising in the gambling industry at a global level.  John is a marketer and product innovator with a commercial head.  A proven leader with exceptional inter-personal and communication skills, capable of motivating and influencing multi-disciplinary teams.

    John’s experience includes the development and launch of multi-million pound casinos, cutting into niche markets whilst identifying and exploiting key revenue opportunities. A calculated risk-taker with a strong passion for making things better for everyone.

    Standing at the forefront of one of the fastest moving technology industries, John has spent his most recent years evangelizing an industry-wide shift from sports betting to innovative new online gaming verticals.

    John holds a BA Hons degree in Marketing and Design. He is a former director at Sky, Ladbrokes and GVC and now works on a number of his own ventures mainly focused in the gambling industry.

    Following 37 years within the Offshore Oil and Gas sector with specialisation in NDT, inspection and testing completed a successful exit with company sale in 2013. 29 years running a company with offices in UK, Angola, Brazil, Singapore, Kazakhstan, China and Australia.

    Currently Non-Executive Chairman for Checkmate and pursuing several potential ‘start up’ businesses in various industry and services sectors.

    Ashley Milne

Ash is a creative thinker with an amplitude for solving high level problems and innovating digital technology. Excellent management, inter-personal and communication skills, capable of motivating and influencing multi-disciplinary teams.

    Ash’s experience includes the development and launch of large websites and applications, developing applications that are innovative and cutting edge, with the ability to help drive efficiency and progress . A big thinker who likes to deliver on his ideas.

    Ash holds a BSc Hons in Biology and a PgDip in Electronic Information Management. He is director at Sitecut and now also works on a number of his own ventures focused on the development of information systems for business.
